- Set each color — pick stitch type, density, angle and pull compensation per color.
- Fine-tune by hand — move or delete stitch points, erase areas, reverse sew direction.
- Export — save as DST, EXP, PES, JEF or VP3 and sew.

What file types can I import?

What formats does it export?

Does it support Wilcom .EMB?
No. It does not open or save .EMB files.
Do I need internet?
Only for license checks. Digitizing runs on your own Windows PC with no internet. The license is activated online once, then re-checked about once a week; it keeps working up to 30 days offline.
Can I move my license to a new PC?
Yes. Click “Deactivate this PC” in the app on the old PC, or use Move my license with your key and Gumroad purchase email (one self-serve move every 30 days; email support@embroiderytools.app for more).
Is there a monthly fee?
No monthly subscription required. It's a $149 one-time license (launch price $99 for the first 50 licenses), with 1 year of free updates included and an optional $49/year update plan after that. There's also a free 14-day trial (trial exports are limited/watermarked).
What is Embroidery Desk?
An optional add-on for building customer quotes: automatic pricing by stitch count with a per-piece minimum, quantity discount tiers, per-customer rates, art files on quotes, and print or email with your shop logo letterhead. It runs on your shop PC/network, with optional Google sign-in for access from outside the shop. It's $99 one-time, or $79 when bought with Embroidery Shop Tools ($199 for the bundle).
